EVENT GUIDELINES

  • The Fashion Show does not follow any particular theme; it has an open theme.
  • The max number of teams that can participate from the same college is 2.
  • Each team should consist of a minimum of 7 members and a maximum of 20 members.
  • One person must be available as the point of contact.
  • Time limit: 12 minutes on the ramp, inclusive of 2 minutes for stage setting. The stage Should not remain empty for more than 30 seconds between the sequences. Teams are Required keeping up with the time limit.
  • Props are allowed in the Fashion Show. These are to be brought by the teams themselves.
  • A list of the props intended to be used on the stage must be submitted to the organizing team prior to the competition.
  • Both UG and PG students can participate.
  • The registration fee will be Rs. 2500 per team.
  • College ID is mandatory and needs to be produced at the time of the event.
  • The background music and audio clippings must be in a pen drive or CD at the time of registration or one day prior to the event.
  • Audio file to be a minimum of 320kb and in Mp3 format.
  • Technical issues regarding audio files and format compatibility will be the sole responsibility of the participating team.
  • Background Narration is allowed.
  • Light and sound requirements are to be informed prior to the event. The team point of Contact must be present near the light and sound team 5 minutes before the performance.
  • Green Room facilities will be provided.
  • Latecomers will not be allowed to participate.
  • Vulgarity of any kind is not allowed and will lead to the disqualification of the entire.
  • Team, If there are doubts about whether a costume may seem vulgar, the team must feel free to contact the organizers and clarify the same.
  • After their performance, the teams are required to clear the stage for the next team to perform. Failure to do so may lead to penalty and disqualification.
  • Any kind of fluid, powder, flame or heavy object is not allowed on the stage.
  • The decisions made by the judges shall be final. For issues regarding the same, the team May write to the organizing committee will look into this matter within 24 hours.
  • Non-adherence to the rules shall lead to disqualification of the team.
  • On any issues regarding the interpretation of the above-mentioned rules, the Interpretation of the organizing committee would be final.
